"Mayday, Mayday!"
NEXTEL / NASCAR Event
"May Day" is the international distress signal over the radio, yet nobody stops to ask why the first of May is being mentioned at a time of crisis. Mayday, in fact, has nothing to do with the first of May. Instead, it is a spelling that represents the pronunciation of French m'aidez, "help me." Briggs is your relief and conseiller to a safe and satisfying journey in NYC. There are so many exciting venues, restaurants, tours and theatre to navigate. So just yell "MAYDAY!" and we will be there to relieve your distress and ensure clear sailing in the Big Apple.

Located in Midtown Manhattan, Providence offers a space with a long and colorful history. The interior design of Providence pays homage to its past--first as a Baptist church, and later serving as the "Media Sound" recording studios where musicians ranging from Frank Sinatra to Jimi Hendrix recorded albums. As guests enter the restaurant, they are drawn through a marble hallway leading to the dining room. This main room features 35-foot ceilings that form a steeple far above your head. While the atmosphere in Providence is certainly designed to awe, its eclectic menu also dazzles. Whether as a destination for an evening of dinner and cocktails, or just to relax in an oversized chair or couch, Providence's unparalleled atmosphere and cuisine ensure an experience to remember.

Omphaloskepsis. Can you use that in a sentence, please? And so begins Broadway's 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee. In this funny, tender, sardonic musical, six young kids on the verge of puberty strive to become winners. These social outsiders use the spelling bee competition to define themselves, deal with their crazy families, and explore their burgeoning adulthood. It's a fun, entertaining, musical sure to please even the most persnickety amongst us.
