Inaugural Address

Third Annual June Briggs Award winners

January is an appropriate time to look back and to gaze ahead. We are going back to our roots and rolling in the Red Carpet while still rolling out all the hospitality that the term implies. I am very pleased to announce our new, streamlined company name, Briggs Inc., along with our logo and website. Briggs may have changed its name and logo, but our dedication and passion for New York City will never diminish. We gave the third annual June Briggs Awards for excellence in Destination Management Services in New York City for 2004 on January 6, 2005. Over one hundred business associates attended the ceremonies at the ABC Good Morning America Studio overlooking Times Square. Congrats to all! We all look forward with passion and joy to an exciting 2005.

Briggs in Paris!

Theatre

The Briggs Team, after achieving their incentives goals, enjoyed a magnifique weekend in Gay Paree! We also renamed Cosimo "Cosimodo" for the trip! "What hump?"

Dust off your surfboard and get ready for some fun fun fun because the 2005 Broadway Season is shaping up to be an exciting one starting with Good Vibrations. This new musical follows the adventures of a group of small-town teenagers from the East Coast on a life-changing trip to the beaches of Southern California and features more than 30 Beach Boys songs. Or why not take a hysterical trip back in time with Monty Python's Spamalot. Telling the legendary tale of King Arthur, the Knights of the Round Table and the quest for the Holy Grail, Monty Python's Spamalot features a chorus line of legless knights, men in tights (with killer legs), killer rabbits and sexy dancing divas.

Our new Director of Operations

"To Everything There is a Season..."

Stephanie Margulies joined the Briggs team in March 2002 as an Account Associate. Last January, she was promoted to Account Executive. Now, after close to three exciting years at Briggs, she is thrilled to take on the roll of Briggs' Director of Operations. Stephanie is eager to continue planning a variety of exciting events with you this year!

Sadly, after 16 years Ruby, our constant companion, has left us. She was always a true Briggs girl: an intrepid New Yorker, feisty, warm, compassionate, smart and sassy. She brought great joy and laughter to all who knew her. Her smile will always shine down upon us.
