   From Brooke Barnes:      Yankee Stadium
Hi, I'm Brooke Barnes, and I am an Account Associate here at Briggs. Even though I was born in California, I feel like I am now a born and bred New Yorker. We New Yorkers are proud of our city and we NY sports fans are proudest of them all. Whether it be a Rangers or Knicks game at Madison Square Garden, or the Yankees and Mets kicking off the baseball season, fans get to enjoy the best time of the year in New York with a beer and a hot dog and some good competition. The beautiful weather brings out even those New Yorkers who don't jump on the bandwagon of the winning teams, with the Belmont Stakes horse race to start out the summer and the US Open tennis tournament bringing in the fall. So, no matter what time of year you are coming to our city, you will always have a sporting event to go to. By the way, if you have an extra ticket, you know where to find me. --Brooke Barnes

Love 'em or hate 'em, ya gotta respect the Bronx Bombers, the NY Yankees. After 100 years on the field, they have a record of 26 World Championships and the league's biggest roster of legends, including Babe Ruth, Mickey Mantle, Lou Gehrig, Reggie Jackson and Roger Clemens. The Yankees opened this season with a grand slam win by rookie Japanese deity Hideki "Godzilla" Matsui. Experience "The House that Ruth Built," Yankee Stadium, in the privacy of a corporate suite, or have your company welcomed on the Yankees Fan Marquee in centerfield. Now that the weather is warming up, you can take a boat up the East River and enjoy the New York skyline on your way to the game. So, grab a beer and "root, root, root for the home team!" --Cosimo Bruzzese

Django is the hip, new restaurant named after the eponymous, famous 1930's Gypsy Jazz Guitarist. The decor and food is gypsy "Le Jazz hot!" As you enter the chic 300 seat venue, long strands of clear glass beads play off the magnificent chandeliers suspended from the vaulted, bohemian-style ceiling. A private room and a "President's Table" are a perfect spot for a riff of trend-setting continental cuisine. The food and service is smart French with a hot flamingo flare featuring fruits de mer served up splendidly on a three tiered iced etagere. And for the coda, the pastry chef from famed restaurant, Jean Georges, will whip up a sublime Banana Tart Tartine. --Dorian Lynn Cattani
