The Edison Ballroom has served the event needs of New Yorkers for decades. Its colorful history runs the gamut of being the Swingin’ Grand Ballroom for the Hotel Edison in the 1930’s, the Edison Theater where it housed Oh! Calcutta! for 13 years, and more recently the famed Supper Club with its incongruous royal blue walls. Well they have chased the blues away at the supper club and renamed it the Edison Ballroom returning to its black and silvery art deco color scheme..
