Anthony Napoli, CMP DMCP is a proud native New Yorker and has been a leader in the destination management/incentive travel industry for more than 20 years. Tony attained his Bachelor of Arts degree from Cathedral College & St. Joseph’s Seminary and holds a Master of Fine Arts degree in theatre directing from CUNY. He was a highly successful Off-Broadway theatre director in New York City as well as Founder and Artistic Director of the GAP Theatre Company. He worked with such distinguished playwrights as David Rabe and Oliver Hailey and produced/directed many original plays and musicals. He was mentored by Jim McNabb of McNabb & Associates before joining Briggs in 1990 as Director of Operations. Briggs, formerly Briggs Red Carpet Associates, is the oldest DMC in New York City, was founded in 1982 by June Briggs and has been the recipient of numerous awards, including the SITE Crystal Award and the BizBash Special Event Award. Mr. Napoli is often invited to speak at industry panels and is quoted as an incetive travel expert in Crain's, The Wall Street Journal, Mann on the Street, XM Satellite Radio, and numerous leading travel industry publications.

Gary graduated from Principia College in 1978 and quickly moved to New York City to work with theatre legend, Joseph Papp. In 1984 he joined the special events firm, Barbara Israel Associates as Production Manager. While at BIA, he coordinated many large fundraising and corporate events, including the 50th Anniversary celebration for the law firm Skadden, Arps at the Metropolitan Museum; Music For Life I & II at Carnegie Hall; and the Swiss Bank Corporation’s 25th Anniversary Gala at Lincoln Center. Before joining Briggs, Gary maintained high-end donor lists for many of New York’s leading hospitals and non-profit organizations. He began his association with Briggs in 1990.

Cosimo brings with him over a decade of experience in the hospitality field, holding sales positions in various sectors of the hospitality industry including Airlines, Hotels, Cruise Lines and International Travel Companies.  Cosimo has worked and studied extensively in Europe, and converses fluently in Italian, Spanish and French. He currently serves as Chair for MPIGNY Golf & Tennis Committee and Co-Chair of SITE 's Young Leaders and even has the time to be the proud father of a twin boy and girl.

Becky didn't leave her heart in San Francisco, but brought it with her to fulfill a life long dream to live in the Big Apple. With a degree in Public Relations, Becky applied her skills in marketing, PR and merchandise planning before determining the corporate events industry to be her glass slipper – the perfect fit. This "California Girl" joined the Briggs team after having polished her event management skills with one of the top DMCs in San Francisco. Besides her proverbial "heart" she brings enthusiasm, creativity and the attention to detail it takes to execute the most exciting, sophisticated, and seamless events for our guests.

Born and raised in northern New Jersey, David has spent most of his life within minutes of New York City. He had a brief stint in the South, where he acquired a BFA in Theatre from East Carolina University, but afterward quickly moved back north to Manhattan, to live in the heart of the city he loves. Prior to joining the Briggs team, David spent several years doing administrative and events work  in the theatre industry in New York City. David brings to Briggs his creativity, talent and over a decade of working, playing and living in the "Greatest City In The World."

Luigi Dato is a proud native New Yorker who brings nearly six years of experience in the hospitality field. Prior to joining Briggs, Luigi was the Senior Sales Manager at a NYC dinner cruise line,  where he was responsible for managing both domestic and international sales. Luigi is pursuing a degree in Philosophy and Business Management and converses fluently in Italian and soccer.

Sal is a Brooklyn boy, born in Sicily. Although he has lived in Brooklyn most of his life, the majority of his education has taken place in Manhattan. He has an extensive knowledge of NYC and how to navigate the “mean streets” of the “concrete jungle”. Sal loves the “nightlife” and is the resident Briggs expert on after hours venues. He is  currently a student of CUNY / Hunter College majoring in Finance and Accounting. Sal is an avid sports fan and has played soccer his whole life. He is fluent in both Italian and English.

Sarah happily re-joins the Briggs team after 3 years as the senior sales manager with Tavern on the Green. Prior to Tavern, Sarah was an event manager at Briggs, and prior to that, a sales manager for Restaurant Associates, the United Nations, and the PGA Championship. Sarah’s eclectic background didn’t begin when she arrived in New York, but started when she left her home town of Akron, Ohio to attend the American University in Washington DC. Between classes she worked with Senator Jay Rockefeller's press office and upon graduating from American University in 1995, Sarah ventured into Seoul, Korea to teach English as a second language. During this time, she hosted a popular English conversation television show and traveled extensively throughout the region. Sarah moved to New Orleans in the spring of 1999 and thus began her career in hospitality in a popular French Quarter eatery.

Always a New Yorker at heart, Dennis moved to the Big Apple from St. Louis. His love for Gotham and prior event management experience make him a perfect fit for Briggs. Prior to joining our team, Dennis worked for Maritz Travel Company (one of the worlds leading incentive houses) for more than 12 years. His career at Maritz involved him in all aspects of the travel and incentive industry, from Travel Director to Senior Account Supervisor. Dennis has traveled the world with many top Fortune 500 companies and has been involved in planning and operating events and travel programs for the most discriminating clients. Dennis brings to Briggs his creativity, operational experience and astute attention to detail all of which allow him to consistently exceed our clients expectations.

A bonafied native of The Big Apple, Lauren was born, raised and continues to live in the greatest city on earth – Brooklyn! A true results driven events professional with 6+ years of experience, Lauren has a track record of operating successful events, meetings and city-wide logistics driven programs. After receiving her BA in Theater Production from CUNY Brooklyn College, Lauren honed her knack for creativity, organization and production skills into her long standing career at Briggs. As an essential part of the Briggs team, her skills and positive attitude, not to mention sense of humor, have proved critical to the success of a variety of events for both corporate and incentive clients. When not planning events at Rockefeller Center, attending ISES meetings or coordinating multiple coaches at the Jacob Javits Center, Lauren can be found hangin’ with her loved ones in Brooklyn.

Lily was born in China, spent part of her childhood in Italy and Germany before moving to New York with her family. After graduating from New York University's Tisch Center for Hospitality, Tourism and Sports Management with a degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Lily has worked for a food service company, a major hotel chain and as an Event Planning & Travel Manager for a major retail chain. She still has a strong role in NYU's hospitality community, being an active mentor for current undergraduates. Lily speaks fluent Chinese, has a passion for cooking, wine tasting and the New York Mets.
